Min Sheng
Chair Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, Director of Reactive Chemical Safety Center (RCSC) at East China University of Science and Technology (ECUST). Registered professional engineer (P.E.) in the United States. He worked at the headquarters of Dow Chemical in the United States and DowDuPont Agrochemical Company (Corteva), serving as a global reactive chemical SME, lab leader, and technical leader. He led the reactive chemical safety lab at Dow Chemical's global headquarters (Michigan, USA) and DuPont's explosion hazard lab. Among them, the lab at Dow Chemical invented the adiabatic acceleration calorimeter (ARC), which is widely used in battery thermal safety and chemical reaction safety risk assessment. Current research focus: Chemical reactivity safety (lab safety, chemical reactivity safety, intrinsic safety of chemical processes, etc.), battery thermal safety (including thermal stability of battery materials). Education:2007-2011:Ph.D. degree, Chemical Engineer, Auburn Univ
